Rodriguez High School PTSO

The purpose of the PTSO is to promote the welfare of RHS students in
home, school, and community. So they may become lifetime learners!

One of the ways to achieve this goal is with our Scholarship program.

The PTSO goal will be to award four $500 scholarships this year to graduating seniors.

Scholarships will be facilitated through Assist-A-Grad.
Applications are available each year around January.
Please check this web site or contact your student’s counselor for current information.

Ways you can help or donate to the PTSO Scholarship program are:

  • Sponsor a Scholarship: with a minimum of a $500 donation, a scholarship in your name or organization name will be created with Assist-a-Grad.  The scholarship will be listed with the PTSO scholarships but it will have your name as the sponsor.  You will be invited to be an officer on the Scholarship Board, and to give the scholarship to the recipient at the award ceremony. You will also be listed on this page as a sponsor and receive a receipt for tax purposes.
  • Monetary Donation:  You can donate any amount you wish to the PTSO, and specify that it’s for Scholarships only. You will be listed as a donor on this page and receive a receipt for tax purposes.
  • Time:  You volunteer your time to help with the scholarship program.  We always need help with fundraising and seeking donations.  We also need help in April and May with the interview and award process.

We currently have no sponsors or donors to list.

Brochures and student applications are available at  Please go to the Assist a Grad website for complete application information.

Submission of Application: Your completed application may be submitted to the Counseling Office.
